What does an artist do when placed in an cubicle, complelled to turn his cog daily in the corporate machine, living paycheck-to-paycheck, until his life is utterly spent - spilt on his office desk as sacrifice to the souless managers and VP's above him? First, he creates a website, of course. Then he does the unthinkable and leaves the psuedo-comfort of his corporate hamster cage, and bares his warped reality for the world to see. In a blog and photo gallery reside the testament that the vision is not lost, and the dark-art still flows about him.
Visual Design
One of the major problems facing independent filmmakers, musicians or small businesses, is the ability to secure quality professional, digital art at a reasonable cost. Taking your project to a traditional post-production facility, design firm or digital studio can costs thousands of dollars, or more, if they even consider doing your project at all. Not only are traditional avenues cost intensive, they really don't know, or at least remember, what it was like being a new artist that is struggling just to get your work seen, heard or noticed. The Dark-Art works everyday with individuals that wish to concentrate on creating their art, and leaving the burden of putting it all together with someone else. We have been in the digital design business since 1992, working with low-budget projects, and creating amazing visual design at a fraction of the cost other houses charge.
